It is a service to provide via the Internet positional information collected by the GPS satellite and the DoPa service provided by NTT DoCoMo. The necessity for systematic vehicle operation control is increasing in order to provide customers with timely service and to drastically increase efficiency in collection and delivery. As building the system requires tremendous cost, introduction of the system needed considerable determination. The “DoCo desu Car” service resolves the problem with a new method called “ASP.” ASP is a new service where customers can choose and use necessary functions via the Internet without requiring construction of a server system at the customer’s side. The operation and maintenance are controlled by the ASP center, thus efforts or cost for system administration is not required. Customers pay a monthly flat-rate fee only to realize substantial system operation and management. ●Initial cost is too expensive… ●Purchase of equipment and engineering work for system construction are troublesome… ●We cannot control difficult systems by ourselves…. Dream Technologies, designing the future with updated technologies, provides a high-speed map search engine. NTT DoCoMo’s network integrates the excellent technologies of these two companies, realizing service of the highest quality. New options are constantly added to cover a variety of purposes: location identification via i-mode and the automatic daily report creation function. “DoCo desu Caron i-mode*” enables car positioning information via the i-mode terminals.
